A Sand Granule

A sand granule is but an experienced stone.
Here I am, recollecting the forgotten days;
Here I am, once again, all withered, all alone.

My life has lived many ends;
All the beginnings have now started to clone.
The mysteries and thrills from the future seem to disappear;
All the ‘bonheur’ from it seems to be deboned.

And a sand granule bears alike rains, winds and sunshine,
Drifting a whole life on the same rail road,
The one seen from the grey window,
Where hangs a grey wind-chime.
Surrounded by many similar granules,
But still forlorn;
Pray, what can I be?
But an experienced stone!

  1. 'The caged bird sings with a fearful trill/ Of things unknown but longed for still/ And his tune is heard on the distant hill/ For the caged bird sings of freedom.'

    The legacy can't be defined in the limits of words ,so I used the limitless legacy of these poetic lines.
